To discover what you truly enjoy during your studies and what you want to pursue afterward, you should gain practical experience while still studying—either through an internship or a student assistant position as a working student.

Student assistants support our various teams across all departments in handling diverse tasks. They not only perform routine activities but can also participate in projects or independently lead smaller projects, depending on their prior experience.

Step by Step: Our Getting-to-Know-You Process

Would you like to know in advance what to expect during our selection process? Here you will find everything you need to know about the procedure.
  • Have you found an exciting position with us? Then apply with your comprehensive CV through our career page.
  • Our Match Makers will review your application within 2 days and contact you if they have any questions.
  • You will receive our feedback within 1 week at the latest.
  • Our first meeting takes place online via Teams. Depending on the position to be filled, we will discuss the requirements of the role, our expectations of the future position holder, and your wishes for 45 to a maximum of 90 minutes.
  • If we mutually decide that we want to deepen our acquaintance, the next step will be either an invitation to take a personality assessment or the opportunity to meet the team on-site during a trial period.
  • In a second personal interview, we clarify final questions, evaluate the results of your personality assessment, and discuss the contract terms. For leadership positions, you will receive a technical assignment in advance, which will be presented during the second interview.
  • If it is a “Perfect Match,” we will make you an offer and send you a draft contract for preview.
  • Once all questions are clarified, we will send you your new employment contract and look forward to working together!
  • In preparation for your first day of work, you will receive an onboarding plan for the first 6 months approximately 2 weeks before your start date.
  • This ensures you are well informed about what to expect.
  • Do you have questions during this time? No problem, your future HR colleagues are available to assist you at any time.
  • An exciting program awaits you on your first day: After a general company overview, you will be equipped with the necessary IT.
  • You will then receive instruction on occupational safety and data protection.
  • The first day ends after you visit your new team once more.
  • To ensure rapid integration and guarantee that you have everything you need during your first months, you will have regular feedback sessions with your supervisor. This allows you to adjust the onboarding plan as needed and maintain a clear overview of knowledge already conveyed and any remaining training needs.
  • In between, the HR colleagues will reach out to you for a walk or coffee to ask how you are doing.
  • Several weeks before the end of the probationary period, you will have certainty that everything is working well.
  • A letter confirming successful completion of the probationary period is then just a formality.
