firstcolo is a member of the corporate network "Erfolgsfaktor Familie"

Family-friendliness is an integral part of our corporate culture. With its membership in the “Erfolgsfaktor Familie” network, firstcolo underscores its commitment to a better reconciliation of work and family life.

Family-friendliness as a Success Factor

The reconciliation of work and family life has been a central component of our human resources work for many years. By joining the nationwide corporate network “Erfolgsfaktor Familie”, we are therefore sending a clear signal. Family-friendliness is not only part of our corporate culture but is also closely linked to our values as an employer.

At firstcolo, we want to create a working environment where our employees can develop professionally, while ensuring that family life is not neglected.

Benefit from Experience and Exchange

The network was founded in 2007 by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry. It now comprises more than 8,900 members, ranging from micro-enterprises to DAX-listed corporations.

The aim of the network is to consolidate good examples of family-conscious HR policies. At the same time, companies should be brought into dialogue with each other.
“We are delighted about every company that becomes part of the free network and shares its experiences with others. The network office bundles best practices and makes them available to member companies in various ways. This way, every company finds its personal tip for everyday business,” explains Kirsten Frohnert.

Why this is important for firstcolo

For us at firstcolo, family-friendliness means more than flexible working hours or home office. Rather, we want to foster a corporate culture that considers different life situations. “The labor market is changing. Therefore, skilled workers are now articulating their expectations more clearly. In addition, HR work is becoming increasingly individualized. Reconciliation is no longer a question of whether, but of how,” says Kirsten Frohnert. This is precisely why our commitment starts here. Because we want to be an employer that is not only attractive today, but also for the skilled workers of tomorrow.

A Win for Everyone

Motivated, satisfied, and productive employees benefit both us as a company and our customers. Family-friendliness thus directly contributes to our success.

Or as the network puts it:
“The new reconciliation aims at a modern work culture. This makes companies attractive to skilled workers and competitive in the long term.”
