A Dedicated Root Server is a physical server used exclusively, where the user has full control over the operating system via root access. With root server hosting, the provider only supplies the hardware, while the user is responsible for management and security. If you want to rent a root server, you get maximum flexibility but require technical expertise. A dedicated server, on the other hand, can also be offered as a Managed Service, where the provider takes on various tasks, such as updates, security configurations, or backups.
