The Apprenticeship as an IT Systems Electronics Technician offers comprehensive preparation for the technical challenges in the field of IT infrastructure. In this Apprenticeship, apprentices learn how to plan, install, configure, and maintain IT systems. They acquire in-depth knowledge of network technology, hardware and software components, as well as security concepts. Additionally, they learn how to handle complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
After completing the training, IT Systems Electronics Technicians have opportunities in our Datacenter Operations team. They are responsible for the installation and maintenance of physical hardware, ensure reliable cabling and power supply, and perform regular checks and maintenance work. Their tasks also include error analysis and resolution to minimize downtime and ensure continuous system availability.

1. Send resume
Once you've found the right Apprenticeship opportunity with us, apply with your informative resume through our careers page.
2. Follow-up for questions
Within 7 days, our Match Makers will review your application and contact you if they have any questions.
3. Response within 14 days
You will receive our response after no more than 2 weeks.
4. Our first meeting
Our first meeting takes place online via Teams. In about 45 to a maximum of 60 minutes, we'll discuss the content and structure of the training, as well as our expectations and your wishes.
5. It's a match? Trial day possible!
If we jointly decide to deepen our exchange, you'll have the opportunity to get to know firstcolo and the team through a trial day in the next step. Additionally, you'll be given a technical task to complete and take a personality test.
6. Contract for the perfect match
If it's a perfect match, we'll clarify everything with the responsible Chamber of Industry and Commerce so that you receive an apprenticeship contract.
7. Signatures
Once the apprenticeship contract has been signed by you or your legal guardians, we will register you at the vocational school.
8. Health Check
If you are not yet 18 years old, our company doctor will ensure that you are medically fit for the apprenticeship with us.
In preparation for your first day of apprenticeship, you will receive from us an onboarding plan for the first 4 months about 2 weeks before your start.
This way, you are well informed about what to expect at the beginning of your apprenticeship and receive all relevant information about your vocational school from us.
Your future HR colleagues are always available to answer any questions you may have.
An exciting program awaits you on the 1st day: after a general company overview, you will be equipped with your required IT.
Afterwards, you will receive instruction on occupational safety and data protection.
The 1st day ends after you visit your trainer once more.
To ensure a structured apprenticeship and to make sure you have everything you need, regular feedback sessions with your trainer are scheduled within the probationary period. This way, you can discuss completed and upcoming assignments in the various departments in detail and have a good overview of the knowledge already imparted and any remaining training needs against the background of the apprenticeship framework plan.
In between, the HR colleagues will approach you for a walk or a shared cola to ask how you're doing.
Approximately 2 weeks before the end of the probationary period, you'll have certainty that everything fits.
A letter confirming your successful completion of the probationary period is then just a formality!
