Whether as a techie in system administration, cloud and network design, as a data center technician on the colo, or as a creative mind in marketing, sales professional in the sales team, or number wizard in finance: With thirteen diverse areas of application, you don’t have to be an IT person to be in the right place with us.
Human Resources
The HR team manages all personnel matters, from recruiting new employees to personnel development and employee support. They promote a positive corporate culture, develop training programs, and are the point of contact for all labor law and personnel-related questions. Their goal is to create a motivating work environment where our employees feel comfortable and can reach their full potential.
Managed Services
The Managed Services team provides comprehensive IT services that go beyond mere hardware provision. They take over the monitoring and maintenance of customer systems, provide support for technical problems, and develop customized solutions for the specific needs of our customers. Their focus is on ensuring high service quality and efficiently and securely organizing our customers' IT operations.
Development
In Development, internal and external employees work on developing innovative software solutions that automate and optimize our internal processes. They design, program, and test customized applications that increase efficiency and meet the specific requirements of our customers. The developers work closely with other teams to ensure that the technical solutions are seamlessly integrated into our infrastructure.
NOC Network
The Network team forms the backbone of our data center and ensures that all connections are stable and secure. The main tasks include planning, setting up, and managing the network architecture as well as implementing and monitoring security protocols. Our Network team continuously works on optimizing network performance to ensure the highest availability and reliability for our customers.
Datacenter Operations
The two Datacenter Operations teams are the heart of our data centers. They ensure the smooth operation of the physical infrastructure. This includes the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, ensuring power supply and climate control, as well as conducting regular inspections and emergency drills. Their main task is to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous availability of our services.
Cloud
Our Cloud team, specializing in OpenStack, develops and manages flexible and scalable cloud solutions. They are responsible for the provision and administration of cloud environments and ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure, efficient, and reliable. Their tasks include implementing new cloud technologies, integrating cloud services, and providing support for our customers.
Infrastructure
The Infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the entire physical and technological infrastructure. They monitor and maintain power supplies, cooling systems, and security facilities. Thanks to them, our server rooms are optimally operated. Using state-of-the-art technologies, they maximize energy efficiency and operational safety, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the highest standards and provides the foundation for smooth operation of our IT services.

The Marketing team is the creative force behind our firstcolo brand. They develop and implement strategies to position our services and our brand in the market. This includes planning and executing advertising campaigns, managing our online presence, and organizing events. Their goal is to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
Sales
Our Sales colleagues are responsible for generating revenue and expanding our customer base. They work closely with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and offer them tailored solutions. Through competent consultation and building long-term business relationships, the Sales team contributes significantly to the success of our data center.
Information Security
Our Information Security Officer protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in our data centers. He develops and implements security policies, conducts risk analyses, and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. His goal is to proactively identify and defend against threats to ensure the security of our infrastructure and our customers' data.
Purchasing
The Purchasing team ensures that all required materials and services are procured on time and at the best conditions. They are responsible for selecting and negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, and managing logistics. The Purchasing team's goal is to ensure supply security while realizing cost optimizations.
Office Management
The Office Management team shines with organizational talent and ensures that we work in a pleasant and productive environment. It is the central point of contact for internal and external concerns. They coordinate appointments and meetings, manage office equipment, and support various departments with travel and organizational tasks.

Step by step: Our hiring process
Want to know in advance what to expect during the hiring process with us? Here you’ll find all the important information about the process.
1. Have you found an exciting vacancy with us? Then apply with your meaningful resume through our career page.
2. Our Match Makers will review your application within 2 days and contact you if they have any questions.
3. You will receive our feedback within 1 week at the latest.
4. Our first meeting takes place online via Teams. Depending on the position to be filled, we will exchange information for 45 to a maximum of 90 minutes about the requirements of the position, our expectations of the future position holder, but also about your wishes.
5. If we mutually decide that we want to deepen our acquaintance, in the next step you will either receive an invitation for a personality test or the opportunity to meet the team directly on-site as part of a trial.
6. In a second personal interview, we clarify any remaining questions, evaluate the results of your personality test, and discuss the contract terms. For leadership positions, you will receive a technical task in advance, which will be presented during the second interview.
7. If it's a "Perfect Match", we will make you an offer and send you a draft contract for preview.
8. Once all questions are clarified, we will send you your new employment contract and look forward to working together!
In preparation for your first day at work, you will receive an onboarding plan for the first 6 months about 2 weeks before your start date.
This way, you will be well-informed about what to expect.

- An exciting program awaits you on your first day: After a general company overview, you will be equipped with your necessary IT-Equipment.
- Afterwards, you will receive instruction on occupational safety and data protection.
- The first day ends after you visit your new team once more.
- To ensure a quick integration and make sure you have everything you need in your first months, you will have regular feedback discussions with your manager. This way, you can adjust the onboarding plan if necessary and maintain a good overview of the knowledge already conveyed and any remaining training needs.
- In between, your HR colleagues will reach out to you for a walk or a coffee to ask how you're doing.
- Several weeks before the end of the probation period, you will have certainty that everything fits.
- A letter confirming the successful completion of your probation period is then just a formality.
