- Your virtual entities within the cloud will be made available at our in-house data centres in Frankfurt am Main.
- Your data is always located in Frankfurt am Main, regardless of the availability zone you have booked, making your data compliant with the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO).
- All hypervisors in the firstcolo Cloud are connected to the switching infrastructure with at least 10 Gbit/s of bandwidth.

Dashboard
The dashboard forms the user interface from which the management of all cloud components is available. The user interface can be accessed graphically or via CLI.
Compute Service
All resources can be managed centrally with the help of the compute component. Virtual machines can be easily connected to each other and access is via a single interface.
Block Storage
In order to provide storage, virtual block storage can be generated, that behaves like an ordinary hard disk. Their volume can be varied as required, and backups of data can be generated without effort.
Networking Service
Individual network services such as IP addresses and VPN access can be managed centrally via the network component. Additionally, data transfer between the virtual instances can be secured within the cloud.
Image Service
Images of cloud instances can be created and accessed as needed. This allows entire environments to be created on the basis of individual images. Alternatively, the images are also suitable as a strong recovery option.
Object Service
With the help of Object Service, efficient object storage can be provided, which, due to the use of identifiers, allows a granular selection of objects and their metadata, and promotes a particularly high degree of scalability.
Identity Service
To ensure high security standards, individual user access authorisations are assigned on an individual basis. These rights are defined by an identity component, which gives each user predetermined rights.
